The Saint Peter’s College community mourns the passing of Pope John Paul II.  The Pope’s entire life embodied the ideals of service, dedication and compassion.  Those characteristics reflect the mission of Saint Peter’s College and Jesuit education in general.

Pope John Paul II brought a message of peace, human rights and the inherent dignity of each individual to all corners of the world.  Pope John Paul promoted tolerance and understanding through his efforts to reach out to people of all faiths.  Our Church and the entire world have lost a great leader.  We are thankful for his life and example.

The Saint Peter’s College community will offer a special Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope John Paul II on Wednesday, April 6th at 12:10 p.m.  The Mass will take place outdoors on the quad.
