Trying to reflect the action and the passion of our times... JESUIT ALUMNI IN ARIZONA present lectures this season on the future of a people's Church in the U.S., the new involvement of Jesuits in social action, the Church and Islam, one woman's story of her peace witness in Iraq, another's story of her campaign against torture and war, and a report on the Jesuits' border initiative in Southern Arizona. Plus, a high-level conference on the global water crisis. And, a complete change of pace: a hit play about a cardinal (and a Church) in trouble.
