Saint Peter's Elects Eight New Members to Board of Trustees

Jersey City – Saint Peter’s College has elected eight new members to its Board of Trustees. Effective July 9, 2009, seven new board members will serve a three-year term, and Christopher J. DePizzo '09 will serve a one-year term.
Annette D. Corbin, Class of 1984
Owner/Partner, Madison Consulting Group
In addition to her position as owner/partner, Annette Corbin serves as the chief financial and administrative officer for Madison Consulting Group. The company provides management and technology consulting services to a number of financial industry giants, including Aetna Insurance Company, American Express Bank, MetLife, General Electric, Oracle Corporation, and Union Bank of Switzerland. Ms. Corbin holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Saint Peter’s College and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University. A former member of the Board of Regents, she is married to Peter Francis Corbin and has two daughters, Kaitlin and Caroline. The Corbin family resides in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
Robert J. Goldstein, Classes of 1960 and 2006

Robert Goldstein currently serves as president of R. J. Goldstein & Associates, a firm offering innovative solutions in employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage services. Mr. Goldstein previously served as the chairman of the Saint Peter’s College Board of Regents and is also an active member of the Students at the Center Campaign Steering Committee, the Executive Committee and the Athletic Committee. Mr. Goldstein is a past trustee of the Glen Ridge Country Club and an active parishioner at St. Cassian in Upper Montclair. Mr. Goldstein received a B.S. in mathematics in 1960 and an M.B.A. in business from Saint Peter’s College in 2006. He and his wife, Marion, have 5 children and 13 grandchildren, and reside in Montclair, N.J.
Pamela T. Miller, Esq., Class of 1977
Vice President of Market Strategy and Development, Medco Health Solutions, Inc.
Appointed to her current position in 2003, Pamela T. Miller leads the development of new market strategies and market development for Medco’s state, federal and municipal programs, labor markets, and Medco’s single largest client, United Healthcare. A former member of the Board of Regents and a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Ms. Miller holds a B.S. in natural science from Saint Peter's College, an M.P.A. in health policy, planning, and administration from New York University, and a J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law. She resides in Hackensack, N.J. with her husband, Christian L. Tonnet, and their two children, Yemisi and Shymore. She is also the daughter of Saint Peter’s College graduate, Dorothy Miller ’83.
Francis A. McGrail, Class of 1979
Managing Director, UBS Wealth Management
In over 25 years with UBS Wealth Management, Frank McGrail has served in a number of capacities, including his current role as managing director in Boston, Mass., where he manages 80 employees and $5 billion in assets. A former member of the Board of Regents, Mr. McGrail holds a B.A. in political science from Saint Peter’s College. He splits his time between Rumson, N.J. and Boston with his wife, Helen, and three children, Robert, Francis, and Carolyn.
Anthony O. Pergola, Esq., Class of 1992
Attorney, Lowenstein Sandler, PC
Anthony Pergola is the vice chair and co-founder of Lowenstein Sandler's Tech Group. He assists emerging, growth, and later-stage technology businesses, as well as the venture funds that finance them in venture capital investments. Mr. Pergola maintains an active role with venture capital firms that assist companies in the New York and Mid-Atlantic region. Graduating summa cum laude from Saint Peter’s College with a B.A. in political science, Mr. Pergola went on to receive his J.D. from Harvard Law School where he graduated cum laude. He is a former member of the Board of Regents; his wife, Maureen, also serves the College, as a member of the Alumni Board. They have two sons, Anthony and Mark, and reside in Berkeley Heights, N.J.
Kathleen A. Tyrrell, Esq., Class of 1973
Coach, Gannon Debating Society, Saint Peter’s College
A seasoned attorney, Kathleen Tyrrell has supported and coached the Gannon Debating Society at Saint Peter’s College since 2006. Mrs. Tyrrell holds a B.A. in political science from Saint Peter’s College, a B.S. in pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, and a J.D. from Rutgers University. A member of the Board of Regents, she is married to James E. Tyrrell, Esq., and has two grown sons. They reside in Essex Fells, N.J.
Rev. John Wrynn, S.J.
Professor/Chair, Department of History, Saint Peter’s College
Fr. John Wrynn began his tenure with Saint Peter’s College in 1974. He is a past rector of the Jesuit community, and has recently taken on the role again. Fr. Wrynn holds a B.A. in history, as well as an M.A. in modern European history from Fordham University. He also has the distinction of being awarded a doctor of letters degree from the University of Amsterdam for his published works and research.
Christopher J. DePizzo, Class of 2009 (One-Year Term)
This past May, Christopher DePizzo graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in political science from Saint Peter’s College. Mr. DePizzo is the recipient of numerous academic awards and holds membership in four honor societies. During his time as a student he served as president of the Gannon Debating Society, a student senator for Student Government, a student representative on the College’s Strategic Planning and Budget Committee, as well as a producer and co-host of a regularly-scheduled program on WSPC Radio. Mr. DePizzo has also worked as a paralegal and records clerk at Patton Boggs, LLP in Newark, N.J. In the fall of this year, he will be attending the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
