Men's Soccer Wins First Ever MAAC Regular Season Championship

 

The Saint Peter's College Peacocks (11-5-1, 7-1-1 MAAC) clinched the first MAAC Regular Season Championship in program history this afternoon after Siena fell to the Niagara in overtime. The Peacocks finish the season with the most MAAC wins in program history and an all-time high 22 points to earn the Championship. They will enter the 2010 Chick-fil-A MAAC Soccer Championships as the top seed and will face fourth seeded Loyola in the MAAC Semifinals at 6pm on Friday night. Siena, the second seed, will face third seeded Iona in the other semifinal match at 3pm. The 2010 Chick-fil-A MAAC Soccer Championships will take place at the Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore on Friday, November 12th and Sunday, November 14th.
