Courtney McCormick, Vice President - Renewables and Energy Solutions

Courtney McCormick was named vice president - renewables and energy solutions in December 2015, with responsibility for PSE&G’s renewable and other energy service programs. The organizations reporting to her include marketing, solar energy, demand response and energy efficiency. She also has responsibility for solar and energy efficiency programs offered by PSEG Long Island.

 

Prior to her current role, Ms. McCormick was vice president, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary. She was responsible for the company’s corporate governance and corporate transactions, including financing, mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings. Ms. McCormick also had oversight responsibility for the company's business assurance and resilience function, which included claims, corporate security, and business continuity, and for shareholder services, corporate records management, legal administration functions, securities and stock exchange matters and reporting compliance.

 

Ms. McCormick joined PSEG in 2008 and has held several roles since then. Before joining PSEG, Ms. McCormick worked at the law firms of King & Spalding LLP as well as Pillsbury Winthrop LLP.

 

Ms. McCormick is admitted to the State Bars of New York and New Jersey. She is a 2011 Leadership New Jersey graduate, a 2013 YWCA TWIN Honoree, was named to the NJBIZ 2013 "Forty Under 40" list of the state's outstanding young business leaders, and was a recipient of Corporate Secretary Magazine’s “Rising Star” award in 2014. Ms. McCormick graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law and Barnard College with a bachelor’s degree.
