Jennifer Schramm is the manager of the Workplace Trends and Forecasting program at SHRM, where she writes the Workplace Visions series as well as the Future Focus monthly column appearing in HR magazine. She is also responsible for SHRM’s biennial Workplace Forecast. Prior to joining SHRM, Jennifer worked as a research and policy advisor specializing in training and development for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in London. Previously, she was research manager of the Employment Policy Institute, a London-based employment and economics think tank.
Schramm was also an executive board member of the European Training and Development Federation, a UK steering committee member of the European Commission’s Training of Trainers Network and a UK representative for the European Commission’s Center for the Development of Vocational Education and Training.
Schramm is the author of How Do People Learn, which was published as part of the CIPD’s Change Agenda series. She also is the author of several case studies, which appeared in Martyn Sloman’s The E-learning Revolution, which was published by the American Management Association.
She received a master’s degree science from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
