Saint Peter's University is Proud to Announce an
Institutional Partnership with the Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC)

The Ignatian Volunteer Corp (IVC) provides men and women the opportunity to serve the needs of people who are poor, to work for a more just society and to grow deeper in Christian faith by reflecting and praying in the Ignatian tradition.

Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) New York is now accepting applications from Saint Peter's University alumni
50+ years of age for a commitment to service and spirituality from September 2022 to June 2023.

Volunteers will commit to one to two days per week of service with local non-profits as well as monthly spiritual reflection in the Ignatian tradition in New York City, Long Island or Northern Jersey and surrounding communities.

IVC is currently providing much needed services to organizations, schools and churches struggling to weather the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic. IVC volunteers are performing a variety of administrative and supportive services from home as well as serving in-person following strict state and local social distancing guidelines. Data collection, phone support, on-line teaching and food prep are some ways volunteers are currently serving.

Saint Peter’s alumni are welcome to become a part of the IVC community.
