Dula F. Pacquiao, Ed.D., M.A., CTN-A, TNS,
is a Certified Transcultural Nurse (CTN) with extensive experience and research publications in the area of transcultural nursing. She is currently an adjunct professor and consultant in transcultural nursing education, research and practice at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, School of Nursing, and retired professor and director, Center for Multicultural Education, Research and Practice in the Urban Health Track, Rutgers University School of Nursing. 
She is also a member of a number of nursing research editorial boards including the Journal of Transcultural Nursing.


This lecture series was named in honor of Marylou Yam, Ph.D., the 14th president of Notre Dame of Maryland University. 
Now leading the only women's college in Maryland, Dr. Yam joined the Notre Dame community in 2014 from Saint Peter's University where she had most recently served as provost and vice president for academic affairs. Her significant contributions to nursing and healthcare garnered her induction into the Teachers College, Columbia University Nursing Hall of Fame.
