Douglas (Doug) Falduto '86 is vice president of administration and chief security officer (CSO) at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (BCBSNJ). Doug is responsible for the Cyber/Information Security program as well as the Special Investigations Unit, Corporate Security/Executive Protection, Business Continuity/Emergency Response Planning and Crisis Management programs. Additionally, he oversees the Enterprise Corporate Real Estate and Facilities portfolio as well as the Corporate Services team. His overall focus is on the universal and unified approach to protecting Horizon BCBSNJ, its employees, intellectual property, member data and all of its assets while enabling the execution of Horizon’s business strategy.

Doug has over 33 years of experience in the health care industry and has been in the field of investigations and security for nearly all of them. During his tenure, Doug has built industry leading and nationally recognized programs in the special investigations, corporate security, cybersecurity areas and business continuity.

Doug served on the New Jersey Insurance Commissioner’s Fraud Advisory Board and is a member of the New Jersey Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Preparedness subcommittee, representing the health insurance industry. He is also a member of The International Security Management Association (ISMA), the American Society of Industrial Security CSO Executive Roundtable and in a member of the Governing Body for the CISO Executive Summit for NY and NJ.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Saint Peter's University and a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in criminal justice from Seton Hall University.

Timothy (Tim) Gallagher '90 is a managing director with Kroll’s Business Intelligence and Investigations practice and head of the New York office. Tim is a highly regarded law enforcement executive, who served with great distinction for over two decades with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Before joining Kroll in 2018, he was the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Newark, New Jersey office, where he managed the activities of over 800 professionals. Tim possesses a broad array of investigative experience spanning the areas of Financial Fraud, Counterterrorism and Cybercrime.

Prior to his appointment as Special Agent in Charge of FBI Newark, Tim served at the FBI’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C., as Deputy Assistant Director of the Criminal Investigative Division, the largest division in the FBI. In this capacity, Tim focused on developing and executing effective strategies to mitigate criminal threats with a financial crimes nexus. He regularly collaborated with his law enforcement counterparts in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to combat transnational fraud, money laundering and cyber threats.

From 2012 to 2015, Tim was the Special Agent in Charge of the Criminal and Cyber Division in the Washington, D.C., Field Office. During this time, he played leading roles in several crises and noteworthy investigations, including the September 2013 Washington Naval Yard shooting and a global interest rate investigation (LIBOR). Tim also led the multijurisdictional, multi-agency investigation that resulted in the subsequent prosecution of foreign-based cyber hackers, whose victims included government officials and high-net worth individuals.

From 2011 to 2012, Tim served as Section Chief of the FBI Financial Crimes Section. In this capacity, Tim had responsibility for financial investigations throughout the FBI, focusing on corporate fraud, bank fraud, financial crimes and intellectual property crimes. Tim partnered extensively with the financial services community, serving on working groups with bank regulators to mitigate threats to our nation’s banking system.

Tim has been a featured speaker on fraud schemes and cybercrimes on CNBC, The Today Show, and Fox News. He has delivered keynote addresses for the Financial Services Roundtable, FINRA, Corelogic, the FDIC and numerous financial services providers. He has been quoted on financial fraud matters in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Yahoo News.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Saint Peter’s University and is a graduate of the International Leadership in Counterterrorism program, the National Executive Institute and the Domestic Security Alliance Council.
