The O’Toole Library is hosting an online panel discussion,"The Civic History of Liberty State Park" featuring:

Hon. Joseph V. Doria, Jr., Ed.D., dean of the Caulfield School of Education, Saint Peter's University and
former NJ State Senator,
Sam Pesin, president of the Friends of Liberty State Park, and
Robert Rodriguez, superintendent, Liberty State Park.


 The panel discussion will draw inspiration from the Liberty State Park History Project, an ongoing effort to digitize and provide access to primary source materials related to park history and development via the Saint Peter’s University Digital Repository.


This program is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a division of the Department of State, and administered by the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, Thomas A. DeGise, Hudson County Executive & the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

This event is open to the public.
